We run our program at Zoe Mallorca, a 5 Star PADI Career Development Center wich is located in the Marina of Santa Ponsa in Mallorca, about half an hour drive from the capital Palma and right in the heart of the Mediterranean with all the luxuries that come with it. Career Development Centers awards are assigned only to those dive centers who excell in professional development, making this the best choice for starting your SCUBA career.
The duration of this program is slightly longer than most IDC's you will find in the area because we believe in dedicated training with a lot of personal attention. During the PADI Instructor Course we take extra time to do both shore diving and boat diving, some fullface mask and DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) try dives and work on our CV's together.
PREREQUISITES
To partake in our PADI Instructor course in Utila, you need to be a certified diver (most agencies qualify) for at least six months, PADI Divemaster, CPR/First Aid certified and have a minimum of 100 logged dives. WHY TAKE MY PADI IDC IN MALLORCA?
There will be paid job opportunities for suitable graduates. Diving is seasonal and our May Instructor Development Course in Mallorca is perfect timing for starting your career at the beginning of that season, those working the season as a Divemaster, might fing our October IDC perfect timing at the end of the season. To support that point, Zoea Mallorca will be hiring around this time and all graduates will be assisted in creating a c.v. and conducting a job interview.
The marine reserves of Malgrats and El Toro are right in the backyard, the new reserve or Dragonera is only a 30 minute boat ride and here you'll find large schools of Barracuda, over 60 types of Nudibranchs, massive Groupers, Octopus etc.
Mallorca's popularity is growing exponentially and it's easy and affordable to reach Palma de Mallorca from anywhere in the world through both long-haul and low cost carriers.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
The program takes 14 days, which is much slower than the industry average but allows us to include some extra workshops and practice time beyond what is required. Next to the Emergency First Response Instructor Training, we've also added the Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Training course, a workshop on PADI's digital teaching tools, a resume building workshop, fullface mask and Diver Propulsion Vehicle diver try-dives and, perhaps most important of all, extra practice time with an emphasis on real-world application.
All the required PADI Instructor course materials are included, as well is equipment rental if you do not yet own your own SCUBA gear or if your travel arrangements don't allow you to bring it.
Because adequate experience is important to us, we also include complimentary, unlimited diving (boat space permitting, of course)
