WHY TAKE MY PADI IDC IN UTILA?

Utila has an abundance of marine life and for those who have an interest in marine biology, we have a marine research center onsite. Utila is also frequented by whale sharks year round (a bit of luck is needed tho) as well as dolphins, eagle rays etc.

Being a PADI TecRec center, the College of Diving not only offer PADI Instructor training but also technical diving courses at the diver and instructor level. The steep walls on Utila's North side offer excellent training spots to responsibly extend your range.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

The program takes 14 days, which is much slower than the industry average but allows us to include some extra workshops and practice time beyond what is required. Next to the Emergency First Response Instructor Training, we've also added the Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Training course, a workshop on PADI's digital teaching tools, a resume building workshop, fullface mask and sidemount diver try-dives and, perhaps most important of all, extra practice time with an emphasis on real-world application.

All the required PADI Instructor course materials are included, as well is equipment rental if you do not yet own your own SCUBA gear or if your travel arrangements don't allow you to bring it.

Upon arrival, you can also enjoy five nights of complimentary dorm style accommodation, while we help you find a place for your stay. Apartments are always available locally and you can expect to spend around 200-250 USD per month and live walking distance from the dive center.

Because adequate experience is important to us, we also include complimentary, unlimited diving (boat space permitting, of course)
