MALTA

Um El Faroud was a 10,000 ton Lybian oil tanker. in 1995, a gas explosion rendered the vessel unusable. Now she lies off the coast of Malta, waiting for you to discover her.

During this SAGA trip we are going to explore Malta, diving deep into her mysterious world war II wrecks, as well as more recent ones.

A Wreck Specialty certification is a must but can be included in the package.

This Saturday-to-Saturday trip includes:
- 7 Nights of double occupancy accommodation
- Breakfast & lunch

- Nitrox (must be nitrox certified)
- 10 dives including:

 

• HMS Maori (Authentic world war II wreck)

• X-127 (Authentic world war II wreck)

• Two dives on the Um El Faroud (100m/300ft oil tanker

• MV Karwella Wreck (863 passenger ferry)

• MV Cominoland (another passenger ferry)

• HMS Hellespont (sunk in the Grand Harbour of Valletta during air raid on 6/7th April 1942)

• Bristol Beaufighter plane (World war II plane)

• Rozi Tugboat

• P29 German Mine Sweeper

For those who are Tec 50 certified, the last two dives can be substituted for a Technical dive to the HMS Stubborn submarine wreck.
