Imagine a job where every day feels like an adventure and your morning commute is on a dive boat to one of the planet's most hidden locations. Imagine a job where it feels like you will never have to work a day in your life. That is what it feels like to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and the road to get there is via our PADI Instructor Development Course.

During an intense 14-day program, you will learn everything from Risk management techniques to how to construct comprehensive classroom and inwater presentations and how to market your courses to potential students.

  • 18 years or older

  • PADI Divemaster or equivalent

  • logged 100 dives

  • medically cleared

JOB PLACEMENT

The goal of any kind of vocational training should be to obtain a position in the field afterwards. That's why all our instructor training is geared towards one final goal: successful job placement.

Here's an interactive map that shows you where my graduates are currently employed.

Anyone who's done a bit of research knows the diving industry can be a competitive environment when it comes to employment so instead of saving a few extra dollars on your training, assure yourself that your training results in proper counseling and guidance when it comes to securing that first position in the industry.

Many of my graduates now live and work in exotice locations, ranging from Hawaii to the Caribbean or even Iceland and the Azores, to name a few.

Just as with any career, the more serious you take it, the more successful you will be! (and that doesn't mean you can't have any fun along the way.)
